What is it about babies that make them so damn adorable? I am positive that in the mother's eyes, her kid is always cute. There are different theories explaining the irresistible baby charm. The human baby from birth till approximately 3 years of age is very helpless and is totally dependent on someone else to care for his nutrition, comfort and safety. Mother Nature makes sure that these little beings are taken care of. How? Make them adorable! Cute babies who are well-taken care of grow up to be strong adults. Reproductively viable beings, upon the mere sight of the tiny creatures, get strong desires to have some of their own as well! The bottom line is simple - survival of the species. There has to be some divine powers at work here. Talking about power, the kid rules the house now. For someone who came into the world with nothing but her loud cries, she sure is manipulative. A wimple sets everyone scuttling in her direction. This kid thinks not for anyone but herself (yet I crave to be rewarded by her half-smiles.) Ignore the lack of sustained, continuous sleep. Disregard the soreness from where she feeds. I find myself gravitating towards her all… the… time…
